Sacramental Preparation is a special time for your child and your family. It is an experience that solely focuses on the meaning and value of the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. When a child reaches second grade, or 7 years of age, they are typically ready to prepare. Children learn about and receive the sacrament of Reconciliation prior to receiving First Communion. Both sacraments are generally received in second grade, but arrangements can be made if your child is late in preparation.
All sacramental preparation and Faith Formation programming will engage parents and students so that it is missionary and evangelical. Meetings are Saturday mornings from 9-10:15 a.m and begin in October. Parents and students attend.
