Assist Those Coming into the Catholic Faith (OCIA)

We have many volunteer positions in the OCIA. Members of the parish who attend church regularly, who wish to guide others in the Catholic way of life, who exemplify a life of faith, hope, and love, - we welcome you as Initiation Sponsors, Hospitality members and Catechists. Time commitments vary depending on the ministry you select.
 

Bible Study

Would you like to lead or join a bible study or prayer group? We have new ones for men, women, and mixed groups beginning often. 
 

Catechist for 2nd Grade Sacramental Preparation

This program runs from October through May and the children complete the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist.  Time commitment for 2nd grade Sacramental Prep is two Saturdays per month. Email Jill to help.
 

Catechist for the Youth of the Parish

We welcome Confirmation Program Leaders (11th grade to adult) to facilitate discussion in a small group format based on the Chosen program from Ascension Press. In your assigned small group you will lead prayer and help guide your students toward a deeper relationship with Christ. All materials are provided. All classes run October through May. Email Jill to help.

Requirements: VIRTUS, background check, code of conduct.
