Becoming Catholic – OCIA

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)—formerly known as RCIA—is the process for those seeking to become full members of the Catholic Church.

  • Catechumens: Those who have never been baptized and wish to receive the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

  • Candidates: Those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition and seek full communion with the Catholic Church through Eucharist and Confirmation.

OCIA is a journey of faith exploration, study, and formation with meaningful liturgical rites along the way. If you’re interested in learning more, contact Fr. Dave—all are welcome!
